Hafnarfjörður is well known for its art galleries, e.g. Gallerà Thors (http://www.gallerithors.is), (http://en.hafnarborg.is/design), boutiques and goldsmiths, FrÃða (http://www.fridaskart.is) and Sigga og Timo (http://www.siggaogtimo.is) and some small galleries and shops in downtown Hafnarfjörður. During weekends in December there is a Christmas village in the centre with a market place and free live entertainment.
